When The Day Breaks

When the Day Breaks-


And when the day breaks,
you awake.
To face your next day,
out of hundreds of thousands,
but you face one at a time.
Each day can be a burden or a blessing.
Yet you take the chance,
allowing yourself to awake to each day break.
Why?
Though some days are worse,
such as the day your dog died.
Some days are better,
like when you rode your first bike.
Even so I do question,
how you can be such a strong being,
facing each day so bravely,
not knowing what it has instore.
Though each morning you wake,
you face with a smile,
a smile of happiness, why?
Because you are simply thankful,
to be given the chance to allow yourself,
to wake,
at another day break.
